Yesterday, I brought three pieces of pork from the butchers and marinated them to make the delicious barbecue pork. Having promised NaNak to prepare a homemade Barbecue Pork Rice before, I decided to do just that and fulfill the promise.
This homemade Barbecue Pork Rice is not only economic, it also tastes just as good as the ones sold at any chicken rice stall. I can also prepare as many cucumber slices as I want to go with the rice, so this dish doesn't taste too meaty even if I ate alot of barbecue pork.
500克白米（洗净） + 600毫升水 + 1 包Mak Nyonya即煮鸡饭酱料,
When an old friend visited me the other day, she highly recommended this instant chicken rice sauce. Its preparation methods are simple: cook 500g white rice(rinsed) + 600g water + 1 packet Mak Nyonya Instant Chicken Rice Sauce in an electric rice cooker and serve. Just a push of a button and voila! A bowl of delicious chicken rice is now ready to be served with Barbecue Pork or "Bak Cham Kai"(Steamed Chicken).
